Saved my frustration on tile and wood floors
When I purchased this Vacuum, it was not working real well on my carpet. It was more of a carpet issue than an Oreck issue. My local store changed it out to a different plate (older model), and it did help with the carpet. When I moved and was back to wood floors and title, it sucked!!! I finally got smart and went on line and ordered this plate. WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!!!! This is the plate if you are going to use on you wood or title floors!!! It works fine on carpet too. Best moneyI ever spent.
