This unique two-in-one tool easily grabs spills and debris and steam cleans messes, too. It works well on low pile carpet and rugs and hard floor surfaces*. The turbo broom cleans up quick spills while the steam mop deep cleans and it can sanitize hard floor surfaces, such as tile or sealed hardwood.†
Grab-It & Steam-It® features a large capacity removable water tank for easy filling. It can hold 21 ounces of water that will provide about 30 minutes of steam. Less time refilling means cleaning gets done faster! Variable steam control allows the user to match to steam output to the cleaning task.
With its low profile and swiveling head, Grab-It & Steam-It® makes cleaning under and around furniture and in tight spaces a snap. Love it!
I ordered this for myself as a birthday gift (I know, I'm old). The only carpet in our home are the rugs and I've been searching for something like this. I was a little worried that there were no reviews but it seemed to have everything I wanted so I took a chance. I was impressed at how quickly it arrived and of course I had to take it out and see how it worked right away. From opening the package to plugging it took less than five minutes. Once you press the steam button it only takes about 30-45 seconds for it to heat up and you're ready to go. I really like that you can use the sweeper and steamer on their own or simultaneously. Moving it around was quite easy and I especially liked the pivoting head making it easier to reach certain areas. The one thing I could see getting old is having to hold the trigger to release the steam. After a few minutes my finger started to get tired. It comes with two nicely sized cloths (only a tiny bit smaller than the Swiffer mop pads I was using previously) and they can be washed and reused again and again!
Overall I am thrilled with my purchase and would highly recommend it!

Like Magic!
This is a must have for any household! I have twin boys who are 4 years old and they wreck havoc on my kitchen floor. I have tried conventional mops, swiffers, brooms, and nothing comes close to getting my kitchen floors as clean as the oreck grab it and steam it! It is easy to use and take s only a few minutes to setup. It definitely exceeded my expectations! Goodbye broom, mop, and swiffer! This thing is amazing! It works like a dream! It is ready to steam in less than 30 seconds! It is fast and easy and even the water tank is big enough to allow several cleanings without refilling! I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of the oreck stem it grab!

This product is versatile for quick & easy cleaning
First of all, I was very excited to receive this product so quickly! I literally had it ready to go in about 5 minutes. I had been getting very frustrated recently with trying to clean the tile in this home I'm temporarily in. Every cleaning product I tried, (including those mixed with lots of water) left a residue on all the tiled floors. Since being so happy with the several Oreck vacuum cleaners I have, it made sense to me to try this steam mop. As soon as I had it ready to go today, I used it in my kitchen. I am so thrilled with the results! I just kept walking around in the kitchen with no residue! It has never looked so clean before. It's also so much quieter than what I was expecting. I love this product!

impressed with first use
very fast delivery of the product and it took just minutes to assemble. The first use of the electric broom was a good one...very fast beater brush speed and quiet operation...keep in mind this is an electric broom and not a suction vacuum. even with the water container full the grab it steam it is very light weight..the steamet was ready to steam in 30 seconds via the light lamp notification but actual high steam operation took a couple of minutes to get fully up to steam...the steam operation was smooth and quick drying...I am very happy with my purchase...and I know I will get years of operation due to my history with oreck products...only wish I could make is to have the button that you depress to activate the steam on the handle should have an automatic lock on because I could see this being and tough thing to keep depressed for those with little hand strength

Mixed feelings
Found out that it isn't a vacuum, just a sweeper which deposits dust on the machine from the dust cup, as all machines without bags do. Since there isn't suction...doesn't clean very well and won't work on carpet other than indoor/outdoor type. If pile is too high such as in throw rugs..machine emits a sound and needs to be turned off and started again. The steam portion of the machine works well and quickly but holding the steam trigger is tiresome. Leaves my floors dull, but maybe after I get through the dirt...they'll shine up? Thanks to Oreck for the free 30 day trial...really appreciated. I have a feeling this machine will be improved and I'll try later.

I love my Grab-it and Steam-it!!!!!
I had seen the ads on TV, with the money-back guarantee so I decided to give it a try!! I placed my order on Monday; it was delivered on Wednesday!! I used it on Thursday, all through the house! I live in a small lakeside camp with vinyl floors and low pile carpet. This product did exactly what it promised!! I will throw away all of my other floor cleaning products, including that heavy vacuum, along with all the cleaning liquids!

Doesn't deserve the Oreck name
I purchase this steamer for use on ceramic tile, Vermont slate and wood flooring. The steamer leaves ugly marks on the Vermont slate which are only removed by an old fashioned hands and knees scrubing. And this wasn't what I had in mind

Oreck Steamer needs some help!
Opened the box with excitement. Followed all directions and was VERY disappointed. Leaves a very wet streak of water on hardwood floors. Called for support and they are replacing unit, but I am not sure this will help. Noticed that Consumers Report tested 7 brands and says a $15 sponge mop surprisingly gives more satisfaction. Looks like ALL floor steamers are a gimmick. Vacuum feature okay for small crumbs, but really kind of joke.
