Wonderful product, cell is hard to handle tho
I am a heavy smoker and as tar build up fast I have to clean every week it seems. Wire and connectors either break off or rust. Clean with degrease r. Would be nice if I could replace wires and connectors myself.

This product works too good
in every kind of family situation except for cigerette or cigar smoke this unit works extremely well.
Smoke from cigerettes causes tar to build in months and really never comes off causing the unit to go into warning mode for cleaning.
It is too costly to replace the unit every 6 -12 months so there needs to be a remedy for removing tar.
otherwise this unit is spectacular and works great!!!

Truman Cell Durability
Careful handling is a must. Regardless, the little wires in the cell are very delicate and are not to be touched by fingers. I believe the tungstun wires are prone to corrosion if touched. Also break very easy upon cleaning. Only use the recommended Oreck cleaner.
After cleaning, drying the filter completely is important or the red trouble lite will contunue to flash. It takes usually a day or two to dry the filter. This is excessive down time if you need the filter immediately.
