Oreck® Little Hero®
The little hero lives up to it's name
I received this a few days ago. I have a dog that sheds bad so this was my main test. I vacuumed her bed with this little hero and I was amazed. It is great. Glad I got this. You will be too. Don't hesitate to try it.

Tremendous suction for such a tiny thing!
This arrived the same day I picked up my old vacuum from repair, and I haven't used my old one since. Now, I'm not Suzie homemaker and don't vacuum every day, but it is really powerful and I like everything about it with the following exceptions. --The cord rewind broke on the second day. --The brush thingy won't stay attached to its attacher while working, have to keep reattaching it. I have trouble keeping track of it because it's so small, and there should be some way to permanently attach it to the unit - think Velcro. I wanted to order another brushy thing, but I can't find where to order it. --It won't stay upright and is always turning over, but that's not really a big deal, and is the tradeoff for a lightweight vacuum.
The instructions say to empty the big container regularly and the filter thing "every so often". Maybe it's just my dirty house, but all I collect is dust, and I have to clean 3-4 inches of dust bunnies off the filter after every 2 or 3 uses while the big container hardly has anything in it except a teaspoon of solid. It would be helpful if there some kind of a brush specially made to clean the filter. I knock it against the side of the house and use whatever brush I can find, but there could be a better one.
If you're thinking about buying Oreck, do it now while the old man is still alive and the quality is high. You know the old saying, "The first generation creates, the second generation develops, and the third generation destroys." Knott's Berry Farm was sold by the third generation and now everything (that isn't amusement park) has been cheapened and the KBF experience does not compare to before.
But overall, I'm very happy.

I bought this canister vacuum because my Oreck upright didn't come with attachments. I am so happy I purchased this little guy! The crevice/brush is little but I like it better than regular sized crevice/brush tools because it's easier to handle and it gets smaller places even better! I also use this to sweep my tile and hardwood floors and it cleans the best that I have ever experienced. It also does great on throw rugs! It gets them clean without sucking them up off the floor or getting strings/threads wrapped around a beater bar. It has powerful suction. I LOVE IT!

I love it. I have tile floors and use it to clean all crevices and cabinets and other hard to reach places such as cobwebs. It is very light , easy to carry around and maneuver. It is great not to worry about bags, I just take it outside and tap the big filter and clean it and the small filter and put it back to gether easily. Don't let it get very full and it works much better.
It is nice to have such a light weight that has so much suction and .
It is a hand held device but can also clean floors and all corners.
It's great. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is product is easy to use
I have used the Little Hero several times and have found that it is real easy to operate. However, I do have a complaint - there are no dusting, furniture brushes or a crevice tool. These are important attachments and don't really understand why they aren't included.

This product is wonderful!
We originally purchased the Little Hero to vacuum pet hair from the furniture. Now, it is the only vacuum cleaner that we own. We found that it works great on our hardwood floors, area rugs, and even the tile surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom. The suction power of this little guy is VERY impressive. It has even replaced the shop-vac's job of vacuuming our vehicles because of how easy it is to setup and put away.

not recommended if your going to use it daily
This is the 2nd one of these "HERO" model BB2000 that we've purchased from the ORECK store in Brick,NJ and the motors just don't last. we use it every day for 5 to 10 minutes and, they just don't last.

This product was disappointing.
I work harder than the vacuum to get it to work. It is made of plastic. I was very disappointed in the quality of the product.
